Default No video files in folder view but are in play lists

Is there a simple explanation as to why one of my media players on my android TV (the stock one called "Player-Media Centre") cant see any files in my folders (created with the add-add folder option years ago) but can see the same files in a playlist. Good example have a folder called TV Series and sub folders as you would expect, can see structures but not vids but the standard 'Series' playlist works fine (although gets the series name wrong now and again).

    Cheers

    Steve

    Possible explanations could be:

    • Content rating restrictions on the "TV Series" folder are restricting the files being listed. Right-click on the folder in Mezzmo and click Properties to check the content rating for the folder.
    • The folder's path is on a mapped drive and Mezzmo server cannot access the mapped drive since drive maps are created under your Windows login account and are not accessible under other Windows accounts. By default, Mezzmo server (running as a Windows service) is running under the Local System account and cannot access your drive maps.

You can email us a set of logs and we'll know why the problem is occurring. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Try to list the offending folder on your device and when no files are listed, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
