    Question Automatic Folders

I just wanted to know if Mezzmo would be able to put shows into Folders/Seasons automatically...?

I am saying this because i hate to say it i tried out Plex and that was a great feature that it had and wish Mezzmo had!

What i mean by this is...

If i download a TV show lets say Season 1 Episode 2,3 and they download not in folders just the files themselves without me putting them in folders or anything when i go to look on my LG tv to stream to them they are in the right folders and season with out me doing anything...

Instead i would just have a list of files and i have to search for them...

I love Mezzmo and dont see myself leaving anytime soon but there are some features you guys are missing that would make your product great and might help with getting more people to use you software!

If Mezzmo is able to do this please let me know

    Thanks
    Rick

    Hi Rick,

Yes - Mezzmo does this right now. If you have added a folder into Mezzmo where you download your files to (e.g. D:\Downloads\Videos), then Mezzmo will check this folder for new files every time you access this folder from your devices or when you access this folder using Mezzmo (Windows) app, or when you maintain your library*. When Mezzmo detects news files, it collects all the text metadata, poster artwork and backdrop artwork for the new files and then the files are placed into your smart and active playlists. Mezzmo includes a set of default playlists for Movies, TV series etc., so if you have downloaded a new TV show episode for (say) Breaking Bad S03E06, then it will automatically appear under TV series -> Breaking Bad -> Season 3 playlist.

If you don't have these default playlists any more (i.e. you deleted them), then you can easily re-create them or you can reset your Mezzmo library to get them back and add your folders/files back into your Mezzmo library. Let us know if you need any help is getting this set up.

    * We're just adding a nice new feature whereby Mezzmo will check your folders, linked playlists, iTunes, etc. at user-defined intervals. For example, you can have Mezzmo check your D:\Downloads\Video folder every (say) 2 hours for new files and Mezzmo will add these new files - without needing to do maintenance. You will be able to turn this on/off for individual folders, linked playlists, iTunes, etc.
