Is transcoding turned on? In my understanding, Samsung TVs cannot handle MKV files with profile level above 41 (and it's 51 for both of those files), so our device profiles transcode these files. Can you play those files on the TV using PC Share Manager?
-
I have Transcode turned off as my system cant keep up with the live transcoding. They all work on Serviio & Samsung PC Share Manager. It's just Mezzmo that's having issues with them.
-
Ok, as a test, can you please switch to "Samsung BDP" device profile and try one of those files again?
-
I will try the same movies with that profile when I get home. Thanks
-
That profile works with those 2 movies!
-
Ok, can you please send a message to support again and I'll send something to try tomorrow.
-
I did a clean install of Mezzmo 2.1.11.0 and used the Samsung BDP profile and it allows me to play the MKV's with profile 51 and MP4's with Pause/FF/FR where the Samsung C profile didn't work.
-
Ok, thanks for letting me know - we'll do a bit more testing here and fix up the "C" profile.
-
I also tried the "Samsung BDP 3D" profile and noticed that MPV's with profile 51 did not work. A bit of as I thought that the 3D units would be more capable than the non 3D units.
