hi i have just had a request from our kids not shore if its all ready an option but can not find anything. the request is that is there a way to hide the folders and files that they don,t have access to eg the younger kids can see the older kids folders but they do not play this is all good but frustrating when you do not know if you can or cant not play the files and they are in and out of folders cos they dont know if they have access. best just to show the folders and files that that device has access to and hide the rest. would speed up loading the pages to cos its only showing what they can access

    thanks again

arr i think what is happening is that the (sub folder) is set to not rated (also server is set to do not play un rated files) but the files in it are set to a rating so the files are hidden but not the folders im i right? or im i doing it wrong? if so id need to set the (sub folder) to the rating to to make it hidden but its grayed out so can't do that

Understand. In the current version of Mezzmo (v4.1.2.0), if you have added a folder, then you can only set the content rating for the top level folder and not the sub-folder(s). We'll look at improving this in a future version so you can set content ratings for sub-folders.

hi just tryed your update with the addon that lets you set device to allow / deny on two different players without a restart but it does not work eg i set the device to deny and press ok it returns to main screen thinking its all good but still loads folders and takes requests. also tryed to play movie and wile its playing movie deny device but the movie keeps playing let it play for like 2-3 mins still playing so i press the back button on the device to return to home but still loads folders and plays only works with a restart like old ver ??

We'd like to see a set of logs when you reproduce this. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Exit Mezzmo (Windows) app and start it again. Now reproduce the problem you mention. Once reproduced, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo (Windows) app. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Thanks. We'll analyse the logs and get back to you via email. (BTW: If you have attached the logs to an email using your Gmail email address, then the logs may not reach us due to a Gmail issue . In this case, please upload the logs to a firesharing site like Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, mega.co.nz, etc. and then email us the download link)
