    Default Preview .zip files

There's a checkbox to not show the preview of a .zip files contents after I select it. I can't find how to uncheck this box should I decide in the future that I'd like the preview enabled again.

    Hi Fletch,
you can go to Tools->Options and click the 'Default Settings' button and this will restore the checkbox to it's original setting.

What other settings get reset if I do that? I'd hate to loose those just to get that dialog back. Maybe there needs to be a check box for it in Options/Downloading/File Selection? I'm OK with a registry hack if that's an option.

You can manually edit your Windows registry. Follow these steps:

    • Exit DownloadStudio using File/Exit menu item.
    • Run Windows Registry Editor. Important: If you have not used Windows Registry Editor before, then be careful! We recommend making a backup of your registry before making any changes (via the File/Export menu item in Windows Registry Editor).
    • Go to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Conceiva/DownloadStudio/General section. You should see "BrowseZipAutomatically". Edit this value and set it to 1.
    • Exit Windows Registry Editor.
    • Run DownloadStudio and you should see the ZIP preview dialog again .
