Default How do I force transcoding on Bravia TV

    Hi there.

I have some HD files that have been run through MKV2VOB so that they play on the PS3. Unfortunately, these files won't work through Mezzmo to my Bravia TV (EX700 series). Instead of converting them back all to MKV (which works fine using Mezzmo) I'm trying to force transcoding.

I've played with some settings in the Sony KDL profile file but I can't seem to force transcoding. What should I change in the profile file to force it?

    Thanks!!

    Hi,

If you wish to edit the device profile directly, then you'll need to remove (or comment out) the section that describes those files as per FFmpeg's information. If you can post FFmpeg information on one of those files I can tell you what section needs changing.

Or, go the Device Properties (via the Media Devices dialog), Advanced tab and change "Deliver media files supported by device" to "Never Deliver".
