Thread: Some MKV Files Play for 10 Seconds then stop

I'm having a similar issue trying to play MKV files on my PN50C550. Sometimes they play OK, but more often than not they cut out at some point in the movie/show. It can happen right at the beginning, or 3/4 of the way through, it varies. I was using the Samsung C profile and here is a copy of the FFMPEG of one of the files I just tried to play that cut out:

I also have audio issues any time I FF or RWD. The audio gets out of syn with the video. It even seems to happen sometimes without touching FF/RWD.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I am extremely unhappy with my TV atm!

Any chance of getting that device profile this evening? It would be much appreciated, thanks.

Yes, sorry for the delay in support - we've been doing a lot of testing (more than usual), so the response time unfortunately grew. I'll send you a profile before end of business today.

I am also having issues with MKV's playing for a few seconds then stopping. I have a Samsung LN46C670 LCD that was autodetected and assigned the Samsung C Profile. I am running most current paid version of Mezzmo (2.1.11.0) on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. PC and TV are on Wireless-N network with plenty of bandwidth. Samsung TV has most current firmware.

Is there an updated profile that would correct this issue?

    Thanks,

    Daniel Gindin
