    Default TCL Smart TV

Hey guys, just got a a couple of new TVs and I was wondering which profiles should I use since there's none for this model and it defaults to a generic NTSC.
The model is TCL 32/40D2730 with Opera and prebuilt Netflix and YouTube.

What steps should I follow or files should I test in order to create a profile that maximizes the compatibility with the TV?

    Currently on Mezzmo Beta.

We can create a device profile for this TV model. We'll need the following from you:

    • A list of the supported video formats, music formats, photo formats and subtitle formats that your device supports. The more information about this the better. Check your device's manual or product web site.
    • A set of logs when you connect to Mezzmo server from your device. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo server from your device and browse some folders/playlists and try to play a few files. Then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs.

Email this information to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Information on supported formats is not present on the manual and haven't found anything online. I've tested a number of files, mkv, mp4, avi, srt, sub and embedded subs all working. Need to get my hands on a set of test files for all the others, do you have a pack of sorts available? Could be a good idea for a create-your-own-profile thing.

Perhaps you could email their customer support team for the list of supported formats. We do have test files that we use here, but they are not redistributable for general public use.

    Found this in the documentation:

    Supported file formats:
    Photo: JPG/JPEG
    Music: MP3
    Video coding format: H.264/MPEG4/MPEG2/MPEG1

Gonna try to test all others I can think of.

After some testing, these are the file types that worked (probably not all codecs): JPG/BMP/PNG | MP3/AAC/WAV | MKV/AVI/MP4/MPG | SRT/SUB/Embedded

I know I'm missing a few, if there's any particular type please let me know.

OK - that's a good start. Email us a set of logs (as per my previous post) and we'll create a device profile to try.
