    Default Built-in playlists?

Ok. So ever since I installed Mezzmo, I've loved it. With the help of the support staff, some minor snags have been worked out and all is well.
Now planning to work with some of the other features, I scanned the forums regarding the different playlist options and have come to realize that I may be missing out on some things.
In my Library list, I only see the folder (and its sub-folders) that I added when setting up the library. Also, I see "Search Results". Many of the posts here suggest that there should be more in this list. Am I missing something?
here is a screenshot of what I see in Mezzmo:

Yes - you are missing the default set of playlist that are created when Mezzmo is installed or you create a new Mezzmo library. You should see playlists like: http://www.conceiva.com/products/mez...hot_movies.png.

The way to fix this is to reset your Mezzmo library, which will create a new blank Mezzmo library and the default set of playlists. Then you can re-add your collection of folders/files back into Mezzmo. Go to the Options dialog (General page) to reset your Mezzmo database.

You can create your own playlists as well (which is one of the most powerful & flexible features of Mezzmo). Click the "Create Playlist" toolbar button to create the various types of playlists that Mezzmo supports. If you need help, just ask.

I can do that, I guess. Is there a way to back up the metadata and playlists that I've already created?

You can backup your Mezzmo database and restore it - but you cannot merge it with another Mezzmo database. So, if you decide to reset your Mezzmo database, then you will have to re-add your folders & files and let Mezzmo collect new metadata for you.

Wow! I did that and all those playlists are kind of busy! I think I'll use my old database and just manually create the useful ones. I have some other questions about metadata, but I'll start a new topic for those.
    Thanks for the help!

When you add files in your Mezzmo library, Mezzmo will collect metadata for these files and then, based on the metadata, it will start processing the active playlists in the background. You can continue to use Mezzmo and stream your files whilst it is processing active playlists.

Oh, you misunderstand. A rolodex style list of EVERY actor is just a bit "busy". Something I don't really need. Nor do I need a top 50 or some of the other lists.
I just ended up creating an active playlist for genre, and I already have a rolodex style folder structure for alphabetical listing (A-E, H-I, etc...). Also a separate folder for TV shows by series and season. Still, I love the metadata management. Overall, the best yet.
