    Default Mezzmo over VPN

    Hello,

I am currently using Mezzmo and running into an annoying problem I am hoping someone can help with. I am using Express VPN service as well for a more secure internet connection but I need to disconnect it every time I want to use Mezzmo on one of my devices. Can someone help walk me through a workaround so I can have both my VPN and Mezzmo work at the same time?

I think more details would be necessary. What kind of issue are you running into? I am currently running Mezzmo Beta from a PC that is running a VPN 24/7 and I don't have to disconnect to use Mezzmo.

Thanks for getting back to me. The issue that I am running into is Mezzmo does not appear on my devices(TV, blue ray player, etc..) until I disconnect from my VPN. I am trying to have it set up so I can run my VPN 24/7 without needing to connect everytime I want to use the internet and disconnect every time I want to stream a movie to my TV.

I am not sure what other information you need but this could just be a simple setting that I am missing. It is driving me nuts though..

Also Mezzmo does not appear when I am using a wired connection, only WiFi so there may also be a setting for that which would resolve my problem. Any information would be appreciated.

I think the problem is that Mezzmo is binding to your VPN where you want it to bind to to your home network. There are some programs to divert network traffic for each application separately. One thing I found on the internet by googling is

    http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/force-s...indip-windows/

But I am sure there are others. Basically you need to configure which applications to go through VPN and which don't. It seems Windows Firewall also have setting to do manual routing. Try and let us know how it goes.

That was exactly what I needed. I used ForceBindIP as per your suggestion(I dont use windows firewall) and I can now use Mezzmo while VPN is active. Thanks a ton.
