Default Mezzmo refuses to scan folder with error: 5!

I have an external usb 2 drive with 3 folders on it containing video files. Two of the folders are scanned and entered in the db just fine, however, the third is being right stubborn and refuses to join the party. I have checked both in Mezzmo and in the db directly and that one folder is missing. It contains .avi, .mkv, and .mp4 video files. There are no dvd files or folders whatsoever, no .vob or video_ts at all. I have opened each file to assure none were corrupted.

Here is probably the pertinent entry from the log file:
    1181 - Apr 16 17:12:19.598 [ThreadID:0fbc] - (1460841139.598) - [00] - <00> - [0FBC] DB > Counted 224 items
    1182 - Apr 16 17:12:19.598 [ThreadID:0fbc] - (1460841139.598) - [00] - <00> - [0FBC] DB > Starting count in: G:\Movies\*.*
    1183 - Apr 16 17:12:19.598 [ThreadID:0fbc] - (1460841139.598) - [00] - <00> - [0FBC] DBE > FindFirstFile failed with error: 5!
    1184 - Apr 16 17:12:19.598 [ThreadID:0fbc] - (1460841139.598) - [00] - <00> - [0FBC] DB > Starting count in: G:\Animated\*.*

I moved one file to a new folder and it has been found. I hate to move all files to the new folder as I could be moving error: 5! with them. Is there a way to correct the error?

    I am using v 4.1.3.0 on Win 10.

This error code tell us that Mezzmo.exe (or MezzmoMediaServer.exe; not sure what logs that errors you are listing came from) does not have permissions to access this folder. Check your folder permissions and that should fix the problem. If the error is coming from Mezzmo server, then it could be that Mezzmo server (by default, running as a Windows service under the Windows Local System account) cannot access this folder. See this FAQ to fix this - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging.
