Default What happens after a movie is transcoded?

Will Mezzmo ever need to transcode it again?

Do all files need to get transcoded? If not, how can I determine which files will need to be ahead of time?

Also within the transcoding section, (settings) where it says to 'View Transcoded Files' how to I decipher / decode those files/folders to meaningful names ?

Mezzmo stores your transcoded files in your transcoded folder. So the next time you try to stream that file to your device, then Mezzmo will simply stream the transcoded file and no transcoding will be required. The only time that mezzmo will re-transcode the original file again is if the transcoded file is deleted from disk. This can occur if you have reached the maximum size of your transcoded folder. You can set the location of your transcoded folder and the maximum size limit of the transcoded folder in the Transcoding Settings dialog.

No - not all your files will be transcoded. Mezzmo determines if they need to be transcoded based on the device profile assigned to your device in the Media Devices dialog. The device profile contains a list of all the formats that the device can support. If you want to know if a file is going to be transcoded, see this FAQ - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...on-your-device.

There is no way to decipher them by looking in this folder. To see if a file has been transcoded or not, it is best to right-click on the file in Mezzmo and click Properties. On the Properties dialog, go to the Transcoding tab and you will see all transcoded files listed there. You can click Save As button on this tab to save the transcoded file to another location if you wish to keep it or re-use it.

Well, I was going to post a new question to ask "how do I find transcoded files?" but I see the answer is already here.
