Default Trouble with Active Playlist maintenance

Something is going wrong with maintenance of Active Playlists in Mezzmo Pro 5.0.5.0. Notice what has happened in the Comedy and Drama folders in these two lists:

There are no non-folder items in Comedy or Drama or in their sub-folders.

After taking those two screenshots, I created a new Active Playlist, by genre 2, with properties identical to by genre:

and Mezzmo built it correctly. So it looks like whatever went wrong happened during maintenance when I added new movies.

I know that the by genre and least recently watched, by genre Active Playlists were created after my database was converted from version 4 to version 5. I know that the first version of Mezzmo 5 I installed was a new installation of 5.0.4.0; after that imported the data base exported from 4.1.3.0 running on a different machine; I upgraded to the first 5.0.5.0 and then repaired with the second 5.0.5.0. I think I created those Active Playlists under 5.0.4.0, but I can’t be certain that I didn’t re-create them after upgrading to one of the 5.0.5.0s. I think they still appeared correctly after at least some additions of movies under 5.0.5.0, but I can’t be certain of that, either.

You can tell Mezzmo to re-process your active playlist as follows:

    1. Right-click on the active playlist in the tree in Mezzmo and click Properties.
    2. On the Active Playlist Properties dialog, click OK to close it. This tells Mezzmo to re-process the sub-active playlists and files.

Hopefully this corrects the problem you are having. Let us know how you go.
