Thread: Changing folder art and adding a blank folder to organize existing folders

Default Changing folder art and adding a blank folder to organize existing folders

I imagine that the addition of artwork to the folders was intended to be a "feature" but I would vastly prefer choosing my own art, if anything, myself. The current version doesn't seem to allow for deletion of all art to a blank folder, either. You might want to add some "blank" folder choices in a drop down menu or something, maybe even color them to enable organizing them to user choice to get around this inability to delete the art that Mezzmo has "chosen". It would be nice to arrange files by "Type".

In conjunction with this, It would also be nice to be able to add a folder for Source Files without having the sources intermixed with the Mezzmo defaults. I would like to be able to have all my "added locations" in one place.

You do have control over your folder artwork in Mezzmo. This is done using the Metadata Retrieval Settings dialog - see http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...ieval_settings. The relevant tab the is the Playlist/Folders tab.

If you wish to organize your folders & playlists into groups, then that's easy. Simply create a playlist using 'Create Playlist' -> 'Playlist'. Give it a name such as "Source Files" and click OK. Now you can drag & drop your folders from your Mezzmo library into that playlist. In addition, if you don't like the default set of playlists that Mezzmo installs, then you can remove any of them at any time. Simply select the playlist from the tree in Mezzmo and press the DEL key.
