Thread: 403 Forbidden

    Default 403 Forbidden

I can no longer access my library using my Samsung BDP 5x00. Usually, navigating to "Devices", I'll see an entry for Mezzmo. At this time, this doesn't have the option. I currently only see a greyed out Disc and USB option.

Since I can access it via other means Kodi + Addon with my laptop, it's not a network issue IMO. I hooked up Wireshark to my Windows 10 Pro workstation to see if I could get to it as I knew the static IP of the Bluray.

In the trace, I saw a 403 Forbidden sent to the Samsung BDP from Mezzmo.

Any ideas why this is happening?

The behavior suggests you denied access to this device in the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo (Windows) app. Go to the Media Devices dialog and make sure that your Samsung BDP 5x00 has a connect status of Allow (and not Deny).

It was set to allow, however, it seems that I needed to remove the entry, restart Mezzmo and let it connect again. Works now. Thanks for the tip.
