Default Changing MetaData at the folder level

Is there a way to change the online video metadata at the folder level, rather than for each individual episode. Example, I have 'The Flash' (2014), but the Metadata retrieval is pulling the 1990 version of the TV series. I can edit the individual episodes, but it would be much nicer - and easier - to be able to configure this at the folder level.

    * EDIT * I think I figured it out - I need to make the Folder/Series name match the one that is pulled from online. In my example, I needed to rename 'The Flash' to 'The Flash (2014)'.

    * EDIT* Updated - my solution from above won't always work - especially if the title has an invalid character (like a colon) in the title.
