DownloadStudio faield to download entire long video from YouTube
I've downloaded some videos from YouTube with Conceiva. These videos were at least 5 hours long and 720p or better. However, it turned out that only about half of the file was downloaded. At first, I thought maybe the player was the problem. But then, while downloading a video DownloadStudio was estimating to need another 40 minutes, it suddenly said it was down. That left me rather confused. Sure enough, the file wasn't completely downloaded. While I said only "half" downloaded, I don't know the exact ratio or how consistent it was. I do know it did later succeed in downloading each video...but I had to delete the existing job (and file) and recreate the job.
What's going on? Any ideas? Could I be experiencing a bug?

Hi,
possibly the server closed the connection and this caused the download job to finish. Can you please tell us the page URL of the video you were downloading so we can test it here?

Well, the video was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KWr...4AH7nHkLpUw0C8. FlashGot in Pale Moon (a Firefox fork) gave me several choices. The one I selected was https://r3---sn-vgqsenls.googlevideo...AxOjU1OTo6Mzgx. Even with the server reset, wouldn't DownloadStudio try again?

When I posted that link, I tested that googlevideo.com URL and it opened a video direct in my browser without the YouTube UI. Or did you mean the YouTube.com URL is broken? Also, it's possible that googlevideo.com URL is single use. I don't know. All I know is that's the video given by FlashGot.

Possibly what happened was that the URL was only valid for a short time and DownloadStudio had several connections to the server open and was downloading the video then when one of the connections finished and was free it tried to help download some of the remaining data and the URL became invalid so the request failed. I would try using a single split to download the video and this will maintain the connection for the entire download and should work better.

You might try various settings for yourself. I'm not sure when I'll be ready to try it. Do you use FlashGot?

Just trying the new settings now. This video isn't all that large so it isn't much of a test. But I did notice something odd in the Job Graph pane. With just one split, it acted like it had started in the middle of the file, downloaded until the end, and then resumed from the start of the file. However, in reality, it started from the beginning and proceeded to download sequentially. The graph was wrong. The print screen shows what I saw.
