Thread: Metadata

    Default Metadata

Is it a possibility to have an option to display different values found in the xml file when looking at movie or tv show metadata. I like that you can see the rating, actors, runtime, etc.. but metadata I use offers a bunch more (like similar movies, triler url, website, etc...) I see this creating a movies.xml file.

    For instance...
If I didn't want to show actors, I could uncheck a box in Mezzmo and it wouldn't show on the screen. But if I wanted any of these other values, like similar movies, I could check that and Mezzmo would show it. Wasn't sure if this was a limitation of the device or Mezzmo application. Using NVidia Shield.

    Thank you

Mezzmo only supports certain values from the movies.xml and other metadata files so other metadata such as similar movies, trailer url and website are not read from the file. Mezzmo does currently collect and display the website URL of a movie and this metadata is collected from themoviedb.org so we could add support to read this from the movies.xml file. We do plan to add support for trailers and similar movies at some point so if you can send an example movies.xml file to support [at] conceiva [dot] com this will help us to add these to Mezzmo.
