Thread: Automatic deletion of transcoded files

Default Automatic deletion of transcoded files

    Hi.

When I delete the files on my HDD, which I have previously transcoded, Mezzmo does not delete those transcoded files.
Is it possible to setup Mezzmo to automatically delete those files, because this way they are unnecessarily using space on my HDD and I have to locate and delete them manually?

    Regards,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,
you can run Maintain Library and check the box to remove files from the library that no longer appear on disk and this will remove the files from the library and also delete the transcoded files.

    Hi Peter.

    Tnx for your answer.
It's working the way you explained, but the maintenance of all files takes quite some time.
Is it possible run this just on specific folder?

    Regards,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,
yes you can maintain just a folder, right-click on the file and select Maintain Playlist.
