Default "Cannot run Mezzmo application since Mezzmo database is set to read-only" error

    Hi,

When trying to open my Mezzmo desktop application in Windows 10, I am receiving this error message:
"Cannot run Mezzmo application since Mezzmo database is set to read-only"

My Windows service is still running and I can still connect to Mezzmo with various client applications. I cannot find anything interesting in the Mezzmo logs. Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,
    TJ

    Default Fixed?

Immediately after posting that, I tried to open Mezzmo using my "regular" user account (not the user account that runs Mezzmo as a Windows service). Using that account, I was able to open the Mezzmo application (and apparently database). I thought I was able to open it from any user account. Any ideas?

    Regards,
    TJ

    Default

    Hi TJ,
the Mezzmo database is stored by default in the user files area and the permissions on the files is set so that only that user can access the files so most likely the other user account you are using does not have access to the files. You can try moving the Mezzmo database to another location that both accounts can access by going to Options in Mezzmo.

Mezzmo is designed to allow multiple user accounts on the same computer to run their own Mezzmo server with their own database so if you run the Mezzmo application from a different user account it should create a database for that account if it does not already exist.
