Cool Issue trying to get ip cam working

After reading it appears that setting up an IP cam should work but i cant seem to get it to work.

i tried to add a url to the feed like http://user : password@10.x.x.xx:85/videostream.asf which works with ispy software feed but that setting does not seem to work the same with mizzmo live feed...

(there is no space in the url it it just that way for formatting for the post..)

    any suggestion?

    -Keith

    Hi,
does Mezzmo report this URL as invalid when you try to add it? Can you try playing it in VLC or another video player on your PC to verify whether the video is playable?

Yes, this functions outside of Mezzmo, and it fails with an error of:

"The URL is not supported video, audio, image or RSS feed playlist resourse. Mime type: text/html"

    Hi,
it sounds like the URL is to a page that hosts a player which contains the URL to the real video source, Mezzmo needs the direct URL to the video to add the video to the library. Can you try loading the URL in a web browser like Chrome then inspect the video player to find the source URL for the video then try adding this to Mezzmo.
