Default Web interface won't accept username and passwords set in V5.1, worked in previous ver

I updated to V5.1 yesterday. Now, I cannot use the web browser to log in. Set user names and passwords in Web access panel, then went to web browser link, entered login and pw, but comes up with error that I have to enter correct user name and pw. Tried on the local machine and on another machine on the network. I tested this feature on the previous version and it worked fine.

    Any guidance?

Default Web Access - cannot login.

Thanks for feedback. Actually we haven't changed anything in the latest Mezzmo 5.1 version, in relation to login procedure. So not sure what is the reason. Please try:
    - verify specification for Remote Access Port at [Media Server] / [Media Server Settings]
    - verify existing Web Access objects at [Media Server] / [Web Access], especially flag for accessing it, there are URLs samples for accessing on net
    - restart Mezzmo server - try access again
    - clear cookies in the Web Browser - try access again
    - create a new Web Access at [Media Server] / [Web Access] - try to access it now
Please lat us know, regardless result, thanks
    Chris

    None of the suggestions worked.

While stabbing around in the dark, I changed a setting from run Mezzmo as a service to run as a console application. That caused it to crash every time I tried to stop and restart the media server.

After I changed it back to run as a service, the web interface problem was gone.

I don't know if that detail helps lead you to any bugs, but the console app crashing the application and the toggling of the setting seems to have cured it.

This is running on Windows 10 now, used to be on my old Winxp machine. Judging by the other nonsense I have seen in windows 10 in the last 3months since I started using it, I am leaning toward yet another registry glitch in Windows 10.

Had this problem too.. I just retyped my password into mezzmo web access area and it worked again. Make sure to stop the server and restart it after.
