Default Folders 'missed' by scan for media

For some reason MP4s in certain folders are being by Mezzmo's scan. One of the folders is named "\\x-mansion\video\TV\R O D - Read Or Die\Specials". Nothing unusual about the name and there are three MP4s in the directory. Oddly enough an image from that series is being used as the image backdrop for 'R' folder in that playlist. I even tried to add the files in that folder manually and they're not showing up. Clues? Suggestions?

Try this: Click 'Add To Library' -> 'Add Files' and then select one of the MP4 videos in the folder you mention. Check for any error messages reported by Mezzmo. If none, then click on Video -> Recently Added playlist to see if the video has been added.

If it has not been added, then the video may be corrupt in some way and Mezzmo is unable to decode it. We can confirm this with a set of logs. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?id=using_logging). Exit Mezzmo (Windows) app and start it again. Now scan that folder again for media files (or try to add a single MP4 using the above technique). Once completed, then exit Mezzmo (Windows) app. Zip up all the log files and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

They show up in Recently Added, which I had to recreate since I'd deleted it to simply my playlist list but they don't show up in the folder list under my All TV by Name playlist which has sub-folders for each letter of the alphabet. Will try removing them from the library, turning on logging & readding them.

OK - that's good. Mezzmo is reading them and adding them into your Mezzmo library.

They may not be appearing in your playlists due to the attributes of the files being added and the rules that you have in your playlist. For example, if your playlist has a rule like [Category] [is] [TV show], then check that the file just added has this category value. Right click on the file in Mezzmo and click Properties. On the Properties dialog scroll down to see the Category value. If it's fine, then the next reason may be that your playlist is an active playlist and the "Processing active playlists" system task is still busy processing your new files into your active playlists. Wait a little longer for the "Processing active playlists" task to complete and then check the playlist again. They should appear after that.
