Default Generating a file from Mezzmo

    Got a question -

I've added one episode of a TV Show to my media library.

I'm able to populate the metadata when I use "Get Online Video Metadata".

What I wanted to know, is, is it possible to somehow generate the necessary XML (or NFO or something similar) file for this one show? Like, right-click on the TV Show episode from within Mezzmo, and choose (an option that doesn't yet exist) called "Export Metadata".... ?

That is a feature that I have often wished for, but silently to myself.

I currently use TinyMediaManager to generate an .nfo file and poster art for everything and then just set Mezzmo to read everything from .nfo and external files.

This should be fairly simple to implement so we will try adding something like this when we get some time available. We will let you know when we have something ready for you to try.

I've been using TinyMediaManager as well - and for movies it seems to work fine. I have not had much success with TV Shows however.

We have a basic method of right-clicking on a file or files and generating an nfo containing the metadata working now, we are also writing out the poster and backdrop images. It is only writing out for movies at the moment, no series or episode information for TV series but we can add that. I have sent you a patch to try.

Same here. Not getting <Export Metadata> on the Right-Click. Verified v5.1.1.6 even did a shut down and reboot. Still nothing.

5.1.1.6? I have a tick against Check For Updates but am still on 5.1.1.0. How come?

And it says my software's up to date ...

5.1.1.6 is a patch release, not a full blown version. I don't think that the "check for updates" deals with just patch releases - but the Conceiva guys would be the ones to answer that question.

And concerning 5.1.1.6, it was supposed to address this request, but it doesn't seem to be working, at least for me and one other individual.

    Thanks

    Joe
