    Default Mezzmo as DLNA Client?

My wife wants to watch her training videos on her PC, but getting a Windows DLNA client to work is pretty frustrating. Is it possible to use the Mezzmo Windows Server as a DLNA client?

I tried KODI, and as much as everyone loves it I think it's pretty awful. It's really hard to get it to run in a window. I know that some folks want KODI to behave like an appliance, but we don't. We want it to perform as a windowed app like all the other Windows programs so we can check mail or edit a document while the video or music on Mezzmo is playing. I've used VLC but it's not straightforward for the non techie (my wife falls into that category) and you have to go through the menu to make your connection every time. I'm looking at MediaMonkey but I've already seen a few complaints on this forum. I don't want to have to buy my wife a new TV just so she can watch her training videos when she is sitting at her desk. I'm astounded that there isn't a great DLNA client for Windows out there.

You can run Kodi in a window just fine. See this link

If you are using Mezzmo as your DLNA server, and it is version 5.x, she can use her web browser to watch movies. Mezzmo has a web client.

I keep forgetting that functionality is there. I'll have to show her how to do that. Thanks.
