Default LG LHB535 Video Fast Forward/Rewind

    Hello,

I recently purchased LG LHB535 DLNA-compatible system. I ripped several DVD's using VOB format. Streaming video works great except for one problem: I can't Fast Forward or Rewind video segments. The Skip function does work if the video has multiple VOB files. Also, will future Mezzmo versions support full Menu and Chapter functionality, subtitles and various audio formats?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

We'll be getting some LG equipment to test hopefully some time this week, so once that happens we'll be able to sort out this issue.

Yes, a future version of Mezzmo may provide support for menu/chapters and definitely there'll be support for subtitles and choosing file's audio stream (via transcoding).

    Dennis,

Thanks for your timely response. In a follow up to my original issue, I acquired a Sony BDP-S570 Blu-ray DLNA player and it has no problem with Fast Forward/Rewind with the same VOB files. Apparently not all DLNA implementations are created equal. I look forward to upcoming updates as you seem to be on top of this technology. Keep up the excellent work!
