Hi Peter,
I do have this setting enabled, I have the default settings: 4.jpg
It was the first thing I tried to edit when I first noticed the problem. Tried all different combinations, but no avail...
I tried here with a file named hacksaw.ridge.mp4 and the first time I added it this checkbox was off so when I checked the box I had to right-click on the file and select to Maintain File(s) and this updated the title correctly, can you please try this?

I reproduced your situation; created a file 'hacksaw.ridge.mp4' from another file with the box unchecked in the option. Restarted Mezzmo, accessed the folder and it automatically found the file and didn't find any matching metadata, as expected. Maintained the file individually with the box checked in the Metadata Settings and it found a match: "The Soul of War: Making 'Hacksaw Ridge'". Which is of course not the right match.
If I then go to the properties of the file and click Get Online Video Metadata, the search box is "The Soul of War: Making 'Hacksaw Ridge' 2017". I can manually edit the search of course to "Hacksaw Ridge" and I get the perfect match, but that's not the supposed way, right?
I don't know what, but something is messed up here...
It looks to be due to the year being searched as 2017, the making was made in 2017 but the movie was released in 2016. If you search without the year then it finds hacksaw ridge correctly or if the date on the file is 2016.

Yeah, makes sense, but the original file name is Hacksaw.Ridge.2016.2160p.UHD. And from that it makes it a tv show with episode number 216 (extracted from the 2160p probably).
Can it be that there is something wrong with my installation? I have installed Mezzmo several times now and the Win10 updates were alle done at some point last year, so can there be a conflict with that? Are there some leftovers in my system that are conflicting? Because this is just plain odd behaviour. Mezzmo used to run flawlessly and I used to have a perfect library.
We've fixed this issue so the 'Hacksaw.Ridge.2016.2160p.UHD' file is added correctly into your Mezzmo library. The fix will be included in the upcoming Mezzmo v5.2 release.
If you have other examples that are not treated correctly, then lest us know and we will test them here with the new release.
