    Default customize views

    Hi,
i'm completely new with Mezzmo Pro 5.1 and maybe i am doing something wrong. Please give me some assistance. I use Mezzmo Pro 5.1 only for my big music collection for streaming to different renderers (without transcoding). I'd like to customize the views in this way:
    1. a simple album list (sorted by album artist) with this appearance: Album Artist - Album (e.g. Oasis - (What’s the Story) Morning Glory)
    2. the same as in 1., but with parent node Genre
    3. the same as in 1., but with parent node composer
    4. the same as in 1., but with parent node file type
    5. latest added albums (6 weeks), same appearance as in 1.
    aso
Most of these views are already possible in foobar2000 / UPnP Plugin (see attached example screenshots). Unfortunately the plugin is abandoned and very slow, so i am looking for a reliable alternative.

    Best regards
    Cavaradossi

    Hi,
you can achieve this with Active Playlists. The default active playlists included with Mezzmo have most of the structure you want so you can modify these or create new ones. See http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...tive_playlists for more information about active playlists.

Mezzmo Android: Install it on your tablet, smartphone, Android TV or Amazon Fire to browse and stream files from your Mezzmo library to all your devices. Full details at http://www.conceiva.com/products/mez...mo_android.asp
Mezzmo for Kodi Add-on: Install it into Kodi to stream files from your Mezzmo library directly in Kodi. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...odi_user_guide
Mezzmo for Roku App: Install it onto your Roku to stream files from your Mezzmo library. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...oku_user_guide

I have now played around for some hours, unfortunately without success. I've tried to create a playlist with Genre as parent node and then a list of all albums of this genre displayed in this way: Album Artist - Album. Unfortunately the only possible structure seems to be Node 1: Genre, Node 2: Album Artist -> List of Albums.
Furthermore i'tried to create a playlist with the last added albums. Unfortunately it seems only possible for tracks.

    I created a playlist here with Genre->Album Artist->Album genre-albumartist.png

You could create a playlist for last added albums by creating an active playlist and setting it to Album in the keywords then in the Smart Rules limit the playlist to 50 items and then set the sort order to 'Most Recently Added' to see if this works.

With these settings there are two nodes (first Genre, second Album Artist). Please take a look at screenshot Link. Only one Node (Genre), then all Albums are listet in style Album Artist - Album.

Please try removing the Album Artist keyword then you will have Genre with albums listed under this.
