Default can Mezzmo read DVD in CD/DVD PC Player ?

    Good morning

I don't think because impossible to add a DDV player ( for example F into Mezzmo.

Mezzmo can read files included in a folder but a DVD player is not a folder but send a stream.

In practice. In my DVD player I insert a video DVD. Possibility or not for Mezzmo to send that by DLNA to my TV ?

    Thanks a lot

    Hi,
files on a DVD are encrypted usually so Mezzmo cannot read the encrypted streams. You need to use a DVD ripping program to decrypt the streams then you can add them to Mezzmo.

Mezzmo Android: Install it on your tablet, smartphone, Android TV or Amazon Fire to browse and stream files from your Mezzmo library to all your devices. Full details at http://www.conceiva.com/products/mez...mo_android.asp
Mezzmo for Kodi Add-on: Install it into Kodi to stream files from your Mezzmo library directly in Kodi. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...odi_user_guide
Mezzmo for Roku App: Install it onto your Roku to stream files from your Mezzmo library. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...oku_user_guide

    Good morning and thanks
It's exactly what i'm doing. My DVDs/CD are not encrypted.
In order to play them on my Smart TV I'm obliged to copy/paste into my folder Videos. And after to delete them. I can't accumulate a lot of videos on my hard disks in order to view some of them one or twice times each 5 years.
Read directly the stream from the DVDs could be faster and easier.

    Thanks.

If your DVDs are not encrypted then Mezzmo should be able to read them from the drive just as if the files were in a folder, just add the DVD drive to the Mezzmo library as a folder and the DVD in the drive will be added to the library.
