As the title says, I have been attempting to play files using the android app to my chromecast ultra, video is working fine however the audio is silent.
Any ideas on what may be the issue?

The Chromecast Ultra does not support AC3 audio so if Mezzmo is transcoding to AC3 the audio will not be played. We have a profile for the Chromecast Ultra, please send an email to support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we will send you the profile.
