Default Plex vs. younity vs. Kodi?

simply FYI... XBMC became forked at one factor through a developer to become Plex. XBMC later changed its name to Kodi.

for my part I revel in Plex for its simplicity but ABCya Adam4Adam POFif the film list (what i use each applications for) grows large than 200 or so... Kodi speedy becomes the stronger candidate

I use Kodi for my front end clients (on Raspberry Pis and Intel NUCs) with Mezzmo as the server backend. Mezzmo avoids using Kodi's internal database, sharing and such. Mezzmo takes care of that for you and with the Mezzmo Kodi addon you get support for avoiding Kodi's automatic sorting, sharing of watch information and position pointer to where you stopped watching, support for movie trailer previews and more. Mezzmo also has a web interface with granular user rights. Best of all Mezzmo's database extensibility is second to none for organizing your media. Lastly, Mezzmo has live capture for OTA, Internet streaming and more. There are channel plugins for a lot of media on the Internet (i.e. radio stations, Ted talks etc...) with more coming.
