    Default Mezzmo remote and Kodi

Please describe how to connect Kodi add-on on Kodi media server to remote Mezzmo server. Mezzmo remote server works well, I can connect to it by web browser or Andriod app. Now I need to connect Kodi media server to remote Mezzmo server.

Please don't be so upstage my dear friend. Probably it is really suprised for you but I can read FAQ without your "usefull" answer. User guide describes how to set up Kodi Add-on for local server. But I'm asking about remote server. Do you feel any diference? So I want to ask again:

My apologies. No insult intended. I'll leave the response to your question to the Mezzmo folks, who can do a better job than I at answering your specific question.

    Hi,
it is not currently possible to add a remote Mezzmo server directly to the Kodi addon, you can edit the settings.xml file for the addon in the .kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.mezzmo folder to change the ip address of an existing saved server to become the ip and port of the remote server. So if you have a server saved at http://192.168.0.25:53168/ you can change this in the settings.xml file to become the public ip and port and the Mezzmo addon will contact the remote server when you select to browse this server.

    Thanks for your answer. I will try. It means that I should change field <setting id="contenturl" value="http://192.168.1.104:53168/ContentDirectory/control" /> to <setting id="contenturl" value="http://"my remote server : port"/ContentDirectory/control" />. Should I change something for field <setting id="saved_servers" value=...>?

You will need to change one of the save_servers so that you can select that server when the plugin is loaded and shows a list of available servers.
