Unhappy Mezzmo and Tizen-based Samsung TV boxes

    Hello Mezzmo Team,

After almost 8 years of successful use of Mezzmo and LG 42LV5500 TV box communicated that further cooperation will not be possible (probably damaged main board) . I am considering buying new TV - Samsung QE55Q6FNA (based on Tizen 4.0, AFAIK). Is it possible to use Mezzmo together with Samsung's new TV boxes (-> 2018 models) ? I read about beta testing available for Pro users (I'm Pro user since 2011) - I may do some tests if required.

    Best regards,
    Mariusz

    Hi Mariusz,
the Mezzmo app is available on some Samsung Tizen Tvs, I would recommend looking at TVs that support Android TV as an OS if you are considering a new TV since the Android OS provides much more flexibility than the Tizen OS.

Mezzmo Android: Install it on your tablet, smartphone, Android TV or Amazon Fire to browse and stream files from your Mezzmo library to all your devices. Full details at http://www.conceiva.com/products/mez...mo_android.asp
Mezzmo for Kodi Add-on: Install it into Kodi to stream files from your Mezzmo library directly in Kodi. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...odi_user_guide
Mezzmo for Roku App: Install it onto your Roku to stream files from your Mezzmo library. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...oku_user_guide

    Hi Peter,

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately only Tizen-based TV is an option in my case.

    Best regards,
    Mariusz

Mezzmo will work with the Tizen based TV's internal player and the Mezzmo app if available for your TV should work well.
