Default Active Playlist: Desktop app shows 19 files, device 0

    Hi,

I've created an active playlist, and when viewing it on the desktop app, all the videos show up. However, on my Sony Android TV, the list contains 0 videos.

All my regular playlists show up perfectly on the tv, so I assume I must be missing something.

    Thanks for any suggestions

    Hi Tom,
the default app on the Sony TV caches the content so if you have previously browsed the playlist and no videos were listed the TV's app will not request the content again. Can you please try installing the Mezzmo Android app and this will request the playlist content each time you browse the playlist.

Do you have any content rating controls set for the device? Go to 'Media Devices' and double-click the TV then on the Content Ratings tab are any of the boxes checked?

Can you please enable diagnostic logging http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?id=using_logging&s[]=diagnostic then after restarting your Mezzmo media server try browsing the folder in the app then send us the logs to support [at] conceiva [dot] com so we can investigate further.
