Default Sony Bravia "android TV" App

I got quite fond of this app for the last 24 hours. It does exactly what I want it to do.

But the "PLAYER" is a bit lagging/stuttering.. on the 4k movies

When I play the files using VLC, Kodi, or the internal player from google even the 4k runs SMOOTH like a Mercedes Diesel.

When I first started the program and played it a video it asked me which player I want to use:
Kodi, VideoPlay, Mezzmo Video Player, VLC and you can select "only once" or "always" for this choice.

I made the choice "Mezzmo Video Player" and accidentally while testing the different players I selected the ALWAYS

now I can't change it anymore. I went into the settings but there's no option there to change the choice!

And I am NOT referring to the checkbox with the "Use the internal player" because I have that UNCHECKED!

My only next thing I'm going to do now is to uninstall the Android TV App Mezzmo and download it again.

But for one I'm not sure if that's going to work and second I shouldn't have to! There should be an option exposed to the settings
of the app where my CHOICE, which I said always, can be changed manually later.

Thank you for this nice app!

For browsing and going through my videos on the Mezzmo Server this App is great. But the integrated Player with this
App is slow in playback on 4K videos and that's why I had it open VLC / Kodi as alternative..

So yeah, exposing this option to change the choice afterwards is a needed feature to the app but also
you should find out why the mezzmo player is so much slower than the other players.

if the other players can guarantee a 4k smooth playback, your own player should be capable of that as well.

    IMHO

EDIT: ok you can delete all cache, settings, etc not within the app but from the general settings of Google.

Things are a bit different on Android than on iOS which I have been using on all 20+ devices over the last few years.

But you actually thus without reset can go back to the defaults...

anyway, it's not a big deal of course the Mezzmo player doesn't play 4k smooth, as we users can select the native player from google
or any other video player downloaded for the playback FROM WITHIN THE MEZZMO APP!!

That's a great option really, you have the mezzmo app for browsing, searching, exposing the internal and external .srt files
and open it up in the player of your choice.

But still, the player of my choice would naturally be the mezzo own made player (since it exists anyway) thus the "not playing smooth 4k"
    should be improved IMHO

Other than that, of course you can also just remove the internal app player since the one from google, the one standard on the device,
already does everything that needs to be done.

We currently base our video player in the Mezzmo app on ijkPlayer which may not support 4k video well on some devices. We recommend using MX Player as an alternative video player as this has very good video support for most formats.

Yes I've read that message. But I always prefer to install as few software as possible...

So either just the Mezzmo App and everything that comes with it..

or the default google player (works well also)

    NOTE:

I found out the google player does NOT accept external .srt only the .srt inside the .mkv container
