Some Samsung devices support DTS (dca), some don't. I can't seem to find a manual available online for the TV - if you have a manual, it should have a chart of supported formats - can you please check if DCA/DTS is supported in video?

Also, does PCSM play those files on the TV?

    I found the chart...
    What is PCSM?
Can't find anything about DTS/DCA, what does DCA mean?
The "Media Play" function supports *mkv -> MP3, AC3, LPCM, ADPCM, DTS Core.
On other formats I can't find DTS/DCA either...
Other support audio formats for other video files are :
    WMA, AAC, HE-AAC, DD+
Also can't find a chart what shows what formats are supported for the streaming function.
    Does that help?

PCSM = Samsung PC Share Manager, it's the Samsung's native DLNA server software that is either bundled with your device or available for download from their site.

DTS is DCA, but just a different acronym. So, MKV mentions support for DTS, right? Then that file should play through natively, but it's possible there's something else in the file (related to compression, for example) that prevents the firmware on the TV from playing the first movie. The second movie contains 7-channel sound and I'm not sure if the TV can play that either, but in any case, our device profile does not recognize 7-channel sound as being supported and will try to transcode that file (if transcoding is turned on, of course).

Would it be possible for you to send us those files to support, so that we could try them here (by uploading to a site like www.megaupload.com, for example)?

So you can not read out anything to improve Mezzmo from the logfiles?

Do they play on the TV using native Samsung software?

Using Samsung PC Share Manager, because if you attach a HDD to the TV it goes through a different playing engine and may (and most probably will) give you different results.
