Default Move Movie To A Different Playlist

    Hello,

I want to move a number of movies from one playlist to another. Is there a move command? Up until now, I've been dragging/dropping movies on top of the new playlist -- which leaves me with two copies of the movie record: one on the old playlist and one on the new playlist. Then I have to manually delete the record out of the old play list. A move command would make this process a whole lot easier.

BTW, are there plans to update Mezzmo?

    Thanks,

    -VGuitarist

Have you tried the cut / paste options under the Edit menu ? Highlight what you want to move (you can use the shift or control keys to select multiple items) then use the Edit cut / paste options. This might work for you.

I would prefer a "move" command on the Right-Click context menu.

    1. Highlight file(s).
    2. Right-click, select "Move"
    3. Playlist list pops up
    4. Select target playlist
    5. Click OK

Most software works like above. Thanks

Understood. The normal Windows GUI context for moving instead of copying a dragged item is holding down the shift key while dragging. The Mezzmo GUI doesn't seem to support that context switch. Peter can probably add more here.

Cut and paste will only copy the video and will not remove it from the original playlist. You could create folders on disk and move your video files around in the folders and this will allow you to move the videos to another folder and remove the copy in the original folder.

There are plans to update Mezzmo, we have a beta version that has been available for quite a while now which we make changes to but we have not had the time yet to release this as Mezzmo 6.
