    Default ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE error message when I try to connect to mezzmo using the VPN IP

    Hello to everyone,

    I'm a new user of mezzmo. I've bought it some days ago and I really like it. I would like to login inside the server when I'm out of my home using the VPN IP address instead of the IP address of the connection that I use every day. This is what I do :

    1) I run the VPN client on Windows 10 and a new IP is given to me
    2) I run the mezzmo server
    3) I try to login inside the server using this address : http://VPN IP:2477/web/login

    but it says : the page does not work. ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

    Actually I have configured like this the Port forwarding on my router :

    service name = mezzmo server
    device = DESKTOP
    protocol = TCP/UDP
    lan port = 53168
    public port = 2477

    What should I do ? thanks.

    If you are using a VPN you may need to use the internal port as the VPN provides access to the local network.

    Mezzmo Android: Install it on your tablet, smartphone, Android TV or Amazon Fire to browse and stream files from your Mezzmo library to all your devices. Full details at http://www.conceiva.com/products/mez...mo_android.asp
    Mezzmo for Kodi Add-on: Install it into Kodi to stream files from your Mezzmo library directly in Kodi. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...odi_user_guide
    Mezzmo for Roku App: Install it onto your Roku to stream files from your Mezzmo library. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...oku_user_guide

    please explain more. after having started the vpn,my server is still available at : http://loziomario.ns0.it:2477/web/login ; but I would like to use the IP number of the VPN instead of my real IP address or domain name,when I connect to the mezzmo server outside of my home. can I do that ?

    Once you are connected to the VPN you should be able to use the IP address of the PC running Mezzmo and the local network port to access the server as if you are on the local network.

    I don't think using the IP of the VPN will work.
