Unable to search movies when adding to the movie library. Also unable to get online video metadata for a movie. But i am able to retrieve video metadata for TV shows.
I am seeing the same issue. It looks like something going on with Mezzmo retrieving metadata from TMDB. I checked and TMDB is working along with being able to pull movie details with my API key but something could have happened to impact Mezzmo (i.e. API key or some other API change). I see where my last successful get movie data was on Tuesday March 6th. I didn't try any yesterday but I have the Mezzmo Movie channel 2 running daily on a batch job talking to TMDB and it ran fine yesterday.. TV Episodes use TVDB which is why they are working.
Peter will need to investigate this issue.
Thanks,
Jeff

Same here. I thought Mezzmo itself was messed up and reinstalled. Now most movie files are blank but there are a few that have loaded the correct images. I did have a momentary problem with tv titles also but it was just one instance.
Hi to all,
I'm having the same problem. I get an error message when searching for any movie metadata. I'm surprised that a single online source could cause this. I thought that Mezzmo searched multiple sites for this. What changed?
There are different sources for different media types but each media type as a single source, in this case TMDB for movies. FYI, IMDB wants $150K a year for access to their dataset API. This is the first time this has happened in quite a while. I am sure Peter will figure it out quickly.
Thanks,
Jeff

TMDB has blocked our access to their database so Mezzmo is unable to lookup metadata for movies. Looking up metadata for TV series will continue to work as it uses a different site. For movies I recommend using either Tiny metadata manager or Kodi to lookup the metadata and save it in nfo files which Mezzmo can read.

So it seems we've lost the ability to use thumbnails for movie files is that correct? I don't see a way to use Tiny metadata manager to do this automatically I've no wish to make a nfo file for each individual film. That said is there a way to have Mezzmo just display a windows folder icon with the name of the film beneath it. I already use filebot to rename and date files. The thumbnails usually had the film name on them which was nice but I'm more than capable of reading the film title.
