In the interim you can use vnc ( http://www.realvnc.com/ ). They have both free and paid products. The high security encrypted model is all paid. But if your internal network is secure, you can use the free. I have confirmed that it can control Mezzmo even from my wife's Mac-book. There is a server component you run on the Mezzmo box, then use a client side to connect to the box. Note that this gives you access to your entire computer and if done wrong will compromise your security. But it does work, I would try the free and if you are happy upgrade to the paid. Note that the paid does have a time limited trail license.
