    Dennis,

I just gotta throw my $0.02 in here too, man. This is one of the nicest pieces of software I've seen in a while. It simply works and streams beautifully. I'd love to see the 64-bit version and even more the DVD-on-disk thing, but y'know ... I know coding new features takes time, along with the updating and fixing ... it's a "full time" thing.

To my mind, you beat the livin' daylights out of the Windows 7 media steaming service. Mezzmo mesmerizes in a fantastic way. Keep up the great work. As users, we definitely appreciate it.

    All the best,

I use both Mezzmo and PlayOn. The biggest hole in Mezzmo is identified by Conceiva's comparison. Mezzmo does not support URLs.

The biggest use of Playon for me is the ability to use scripts. There is also some nice functionality they are currently having in beta.

Dennis and staff, if you would like to know more about what I do with PlayOn, please feel free to send me a PM. Mezzmo could become the BEST rather than the Best DLNA player.

I agree...Mezzmo would be Incredible to support URL/RSS streams. It is polished for local content and allows playing files natively if supported without transcoding.

I tried Playon for streaming content by dlna and liked it, but TRANSCODES EVERYTHING and thus does not allow HD streaming for youtube for example. Mezzmo is polished in this area, by allowing files to be sent natively to the device.
