All,
I've came back to ,and paid for, Mezzmo.I have an iPad 2.It is running on IOS 4.3.4 , which means I cannot jailbreak it to use it for the likes of XBMC <sob>. I have a few DLNA clients on the iPad, mainly media:connect and Buzzplayer. Both have problems playing/streaming files from Mezzmo.I have changed the profile setting to Alpha Player (iPad) and the speed to 54G wireless (to be on the safe side). None of the two will play a .vob file (see below for FFmpeg info). However, if I take transcoding OFF for all devices, both clients can work. This is not great as any files that DO need transcoding, I've had it!
Both these clients will play the same file no problems in PS3 Media Server. If I switch transcoding back ON, same thing happens again. What I dont understand is why Mezmmo is transcoding a file that it obviously doesn't need to.Comments would be welcome as I think I'm missing something here! :-)
