Hi Huw,
It's strange that one of the MP4s plays and one does not. They are very similar (same) regarding their encoding attributes. One possible reason is that one MP4 may have been badly encoded so it cannot be decoded and played by your TV's firmware. Try pre-transcoding the MP4 and see if that is better. Right-click on the MP4 in Mezzmo and click 'Pre-transcode Files'. On the Pre-transcode Files dialog, select your device and click 'Choose Formats'. On the Pre-transcode Formats dialog, select the bolded format and select the 'Force full transcode of all channels' checkbox. Click OK. Now select the 'Pre-transcode files even if they match the devices supported formats' checkbox. Click OK to start transcoding. This will do a full transcode on the MP4 file so it may get around any of the encoding issues in the original file. Wait until transcoding has completed and then try streaming the video now. If transcoding failed, then click on the 'Failed' text in the Transcoding pane and email this FFmpeg information to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
