Thread: A request/suggestion

    Default A request/suggestion

It would be nice (and maybe I just have not found it yet), that when setting up an "Active" playlist, if I could restrict the type of files that the list will show.

For example I am currently setting up an Album playlist under a Music folder. And in this playlist initially it also has pictures. I do not want pictures under the Music folder, I could potentially see setting up an Album playlist under a Pictures folder though, after finding this issue.

Thank you for the suggestion Henry,

At the moment, you can use the filter tabs below the tree to filter out and show just the contents (media types) that you want, however we will consider adding the ability to limit Active playlists to a certain media type.

I would ask that you consider it, because I just checked and Music files show up (in the Pictures directory/folder) on the remote system as well, not just in the Mezzmo interface.
    My setup info:
Vista on a Dell XPS420 system
    Norton Internet Security for FW
    PS3 w/ latest (2.20) Firmware
    Latest ver of Mezzmo (1.1.2.0)

Switch is hard wired to DLS Modem/Router.

Yes, that's correct - using tabs to filter items is only applied to Mezzmo, not to what the server delivers to clients.

I have added this to the to-do features list, so it will make way into the product at some stage, hopefully soon
