Paul,
I need to revisit this. Is there a way to make Mezzmo not play a file on my WD Live if it needs to be transcoded? What I'm saying is I hate nothing more than playing a file and then an hour or two later, come back into my bedroom (where my computer is), and find it running 100%. I would prefer Mezzmo just not play it at all, and then I would transcode it later.

Hi Blazin,
You can turn off transcoding for your WD TV Live in Mezzmo. Go to the Media Devices dialog and edit your WD TV Live device. In the Device Settings dialog, go to the Transcoding tab and turn off transcoding. Now all files will be delivered in their native form to your WD TV Live without any transcoding.

Hello... I have the same computer as Blazin65 (Sony touchscreen All-in-One, Windows 8, 6 GB RAM, i5, 2.6 GHZ) and when I use mezzmo in windows 8, it's like lock my services when I close mezzmo. Only way to get system restarted is shutting down through the button. If I try restart or shutdown it freezes. Some one had the same issue???

Hi Toledo,
If you send us a set of logs, then we can see what is happening. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging). Stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo application using File/Exit menu item. Run Mezzmo again and start your Mezzmo server. Reproduce the problem where you computer locks up when using Mezzmo. After you have reproduced the problem, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
