Default MKV subtitles to Samsung C650

    Hi,
I have extracted an SRT and placed it in the same folder as the MKV movie, with same name but it does not seem to work. Sorry if this has already been asked but does Mezzmo support subtitles either embedded or external as SRT or other to Samsung TV with current build. I read some threads about external subs being added but not sure if it works for my TV. If not when is this likely to be added as it is an important feature for me.

    Thanks

Mezzmo does support external subtitle files (.SRT and .SUB). If a DLNA device asks for them, then Mezzmo delivers them to the device and your device then renders them (displays them). Just to confirm, you should have the same name for the external subtitle file - for example, C:\MyMovies\inception.mkv and C:\MyMovies\inception.srt.

Make sure your device profile is correctly set in Mezzmo. Go to the Media Devices dialog to check this. from your model number, it looks like it should be "Samsung C".

If you are still not up and running, please turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and try streaming the MKV file again. Then send us your log files to support [at] conceiva [dot] com. We will check that your TV is requesting your external subtitle file.
