Thread: subtitles not showing in updated Mezzmo with LG home theatre system (LG BH9520TW)

Default subtitles not showing in updated Mezzmo with LG home theatre system (LG BH9520TW)

I've bought a HOME THEATRE http://www.lg.com/uk/home-entertainm...-cinema-system a mont ago and connected Mezzmo and it worked just fine. I think it was version 2.6.3. or something. Then i bought mezzmo and was happy finally set up nice DLNA system.
Anyway, later in july i upgraded mezzmo to newer vesion and subtitles suddnely stopped working. My LG bluray home cinema system has NERO MEDIA HOME as regular DLNA software and everything is still working just fine. Only mezzmo stopped showing .srt subtitles in my movies (i have all kind of video formats: divx, xvid, divx HD, MKV, MP4, VOB,...). Then I uninstalled newer version and get old one and still problem exist - no subtitles support. What is wrong?

    Hi Andrej,

We'll need to see a set of logs to see what is happening. Please turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Stream a video to your LG that has an external SRT subtitle file. When no subtitles display, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

    Default logs

    2012-09-02-08-28-38-MezzmoMediaService.zip

    ok, i am sending log.
I have film with external subtitles and mezzmo can see them in log. They have the same name as film. But i can't see them on TV.

    Please help!

Subs inside .mkv are working now. So there is a problem with .srt subs.

A also forgot to say that my Nero Media Home server equipped with my HTS is showing all subs normally.

I have also media player ASUS O!play HD-PR1 connected to TV and tried DLNA connection with mezzmo and all subs are shown normally.

So it must be something with LG HTS and Mezzmo - maybe profile problem? I have LG Bluray profile as you can see from log.

    Hi Andrej,

Thanks for trying the patch and letting us know via customer support email that it fixes your problem (i.e. no SRT subtitles were being displayed when streaming a video to a LG Blu-ray player). We'll add this fix in to the upcoming version that we are about to release to all registered users. If other LG Blu-ray owners wish to try the patch in the meantime, then please contact us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Unhappy problem with my LG BH9520TW home theatre system is back

I must say that problem with my LG BH9520TW home theatre system is back with the newest version of Mezzmo.
There are no subtitles in movies again (external .SRT or internal inside MKV container) and when i tried to uninstall this version and putting the old version back is not solving this issue.
I will record a log later today so you can see what went wrong with this new updated version.
I also tried with my ASUS O!play HD-PR1 and problem is the same. Mezzmo lost two things: changing multi audio and no subtitles at all in any movie (.mkv, .avi, .mp4,...)
And my original software NERO MEDIA HOME server is showing all subs normally.
