As a first step, can you please go to Media Server Settings dialog and check if the Firewall button is enabled or disabled - if it's enabled, please click it and see if that helps.

Also, try disabling your firewall, then restart Mezzmo server and see if it gets through or not.

If it's disabled or clicking it doesn't help, please send a message to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and we'll get you up and running.

Can you please try disabling your firewall completely (temporarily) and then restart the server and see if that helps?

    Ok. Will try that tonight.
But with Samsung PC Share Manager it works right away. Without any changes to firewall settings.

It's possible that it's something else, not the firewall of course. It may also help if you could turn on logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) then restart the server and let it run for a bit, then stop the server and send logs to support (at) conceiva (dot) com - we'll see if there's any conversation between the TV and Mezzmo.

Argh ! When turning off my Windows firewall settings, I was able to connect from my tv to the Mezzmo server.
I could browse through the content but viewing/playing something did not work.
Always got the same message saying Not Supported File Format ( for audio/video/photo )

Ok, we'll need to investigate why your firewall is preventing Mezzmo from working, but Mezzmo is not detecting it and fix it up.

Regarding playing - can you please turn on diagnostic logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging), then try playing something, when it fails, stop the server and send the logs to support (at) conceiva (dot) com for further investigation?
