Mezzmo and PS3 : problem with playing .mov ... please help !
Ola guys !
Yesterday i did my first steps with mezzmo.
I let my PS3 (latest firmware installed) find the Mezzmo Media server and that went well !!.
But .. just out of curiousity , i added a .MOV file to the Mezzmo library.
'
My PS3 saw that movie so i wanted to play it, but then ..aaarghh ... "incompatible data" notification from my PS3.
That was abit of a disappointment ..i have ALOT of .mov files which i want to add to Mezzo, so my PS 3 would play them just fine (through transcoding i assumed).
I know that .MOV is just a container format but i had hoped that my PS would be play it without a hitch.
Am i overlooking something in Mezzmo's settings or is this just bad luck for me ?
I hope the first ...
Any help very appreciated !
Best,
Rob.

Maybe this is useful info regarding my problem:
I looked on my macbook for the videospecs of the .mov file that won't play on my P3 :
Videotrack is MPEG4
But i can see 2 more videotracks in the movie: MPEG4-OSDSM and MPGEG4-SDSM.
Best,
Rob.

Hi Rob,
Can you please post FFmpeg information about that movie (in Mezzmo right-click on the file and use the "Get FFmpeg Information" command)? Also, it'd be great if you could turn on diagnostic logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging), then try to play that movie again and once it fails, stop the server and send the logs to support (at) conceiva (dot) com

Same problem playing .MOV files
I've got exactly the same problem trying to play .MOV files from my SAMSUNG TV (32C6530). They don't! All have been loaded into MEZZMO on my PC but they are simply not visible when I look for them on my TV. (All other formats are).
I've currently got a 15 day trial version of the software and won't buy it unless I can find a solution to this problem.
Help!
Thanks

All sorted now! Ignore my last message. I am very impressed with both the software and the support provided via this forum. I am convinced enough to buy!!
