Does the TV support external subtitles? If it doesn't, then subtitles would need to be burned-in, but the current version of Mezzmo doesn't support that yet.
If you can tell me the exact model of your TV, I could check the manual to see whether external subtitles should be supported or not.

My TV is 37PFL6606H/12, it doesnt support subtitles over DLNA, so maybe thats the problem,
but I thought that mezzmo can transcode them in.
Tnx,

Mezzmo will be able to burn-in subtitles with the next major release (v3), but at the moment Mezzmo only supports sending external subtitles.
-
When will the next major release be?
-
Sorry we do not have a firm release date as yet since we are still developing the various features for Mezzmo v3.0.
-
Yes but you can say if its gonna be a month or 3 month or half a year, or cant you?
-
Lets try around 2-3 months but no promises

Subtittles problem on Yamaha
I am using Yamaha BD-S667 DVD player which is switched via DLNA thanks to Mezzmo. Music and movie are played correcly, but I have a problem with subttitles. I have tried all clues fount at forum (srt, the same name an location as the movie) without any effect. Can someone help me?

It's best we see a set of logs to make sure Mezzmo is streaming your subtitles to your Yamaha device. Please turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Stream the video to your device and after no subtitles are displayed, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
